Yamaha Expands Percussion Lineup with New Marching Drum Finishes and Chime Models

BUENA PARK, Calif. (January 25, 2024) — Today, Yamaha announced the availability of two new product lines: Natural Forest marching drums and YCH-6118 & YCH-7118 Series Chimes.

Natural Forest Marching Drums

A beautiful Natural Forest color will be joining our four standard finish options (Black, Blue, Red Forest stain finishes and white wrap) for all Yamaha SFZ Series marching snares, and Field-Corps Series tenor and bass drums. Differing from the Natural Gloss custom lacquer finish, Natural Forest is matte in appearance.

YCH-6118 & YCH-7118 Chimes

New YCH Series chimes feature a redesigned hangar assembly for improved sound quality and playability while commanding attention on any stage.

YCH-6118 and YCH-7118 Series Chimes continue to build off of the extraordinary playability of their predecessors with a reimagined harp design for improved tonality and ease of use. Both models include a cover and (2) YCHM-38P mallets.
