Radiohead gave their first-ever Grammy Awards performance backed by University of Southern California's (USC) renowned marching band at the ceremony held in Los Angeles. The band, which won the Grammy for Alternative Music Album, delivered a rousing rendition of "15 Step" one of the evening's highlights. The Spirit of Troy, also known as the University of Southern California Trojan Marching Band (TMB,) self-described as "The Greatest Marching Band in the History of the Universe," is the marching band of USC, representing the school at various collegiate sports, broadcast, popular music recording, and national public appearance functions. The Yamaha-endorsed band has performed for five U.S. presidents, at the Summer Olympics, and on the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, and the season seven finale of American Idol.
