When the band started playing, the crowd squeezed in toward the stage and stayed riveted throughout the raucous performance. Joining Schon, who played several memorable solos on a custom SBG1000, were his son Miles Schon on guitar, bassist Marco Mendoza, drummer Prairie Prince (playing a kit he painted himself), vocalist Keith St. John and keyboardist John Harjo.

Other performers included Lee Ritenour, who played one of the new NX series nylon string acoustic-electrics, and internet sensation Andy McKee. EMKE, a band from Hawaii featuring young members and a tight sound, opened the evening.
