Yamaha Guitars brings two new members into its popular GigMaker line.

BUENA PARK, CA (December 30, 2005) — Yamaha Guitars brings two new members into its popular GigMaker line with the introduction of the electric guitar (GigMaker EG) and electric bass (GigMaker EB) packages. Both packages are currently shipping, and deliver an outstanding combination of quality Yamaha instruments, powerful 20-watt amplifiers, and all the essential accessories needed for the aspiring musician to start playing.

The GigMaker EG includes a PAC012 Pacifica solid body electric guitar, known for its excellent tone and playability. The solid body, comfortable neck, fast action and versatile single humbucker/dual single-coil pickup configuration have made this one of Yamaha’s best values for more than a decade.

Backed by Yamaha’s limited lifetime warranty, the PAC012 looks as great as it sounds, with Chrome tuners, a white pickguard, a vintage style Chrome tremolo and classic cutaway styling. Available finishes include Black, Metallic Dark Blue and Metallic Red.

For bassists, the Yamaha GigMaker EB features an RBX170 4-string, one of Yamaha’s most affordable, durable and top-selling basses. Available in Black, Dark Metallic Blue and Metallic Red finishes, the RBX170 is also backed by Yamaha’s limited lifetime warranty.

The GigMaker EB also comes with a powerful 20-watt, multi-function Drive bass amplifier, a gig bag, strap, Qwik Tune digital chromatic tuner, cable and an instructional DVD.
