"We're thrilled at the response we have received thus far," says Jim Levesque, Clavinova marketing manager, Yamaha Corporation of America. "It's been wonderful to learn about the myriad of ways that the Clavinova continues to touch people's lives."

Contestants enter to win the grand prize of a brand new CVP405 digital piano. In addition to simple entry forms, Yamaha encourages contestants to showcase their musical talent and passion for the Clavinova by entering in the following ways:
  • Tell Us About Your Clavinova Experience: Contestants can share their stories of how the Clavinova has affected their lives. Stories may be shared as a written essay of 250 words or less or by a short video testimonial.

  • Share Your Original Compositions: Users can share USB audio recordings of original compositions using a CVP400 Series Clavinova Digital piano. Select compositions may be posted to the anniversary site for millions to experience.
  • Show Us Your Performance: Yamaha wants to see users' original compositions, not just hear them. Contestants may upload a performance video of their original composition on a CVP400 Series Clavinova.

"We're thrilled to mark a quarter of a century of musical craftsmanship and technological innovation with this exciting sweepstakes," says Jim Levesque, Yamaha electronic keyboard marketing manager. "It offers a fun and interactive way for us to connect with the community of Clavinova users nationwide and to offer them a means of creative expression using the exceptional recording capabilities of the CVP400 Series."

Continuing to push the boundaries of musical craftsmanship and technological innovation, the company recently introduced the new CVP400 Series. For the first time in the history of the digital piano, users can record fully orchestrated performances, with vocals, onto their USB thumb drives. These acoustically stellar performances can then be turned into CDs, using iTunes or Windows Media Player, and then easily shared with friends, in person, on disc, or over the Internet. For added convenience, the Clavinova CVP400 Series is the first with a built-in LAN port.

In 1983, Yamaha introduced the Clavinova® YP-40 and since that time, the company has continually developed a multitude of leading-edge, ground-breaking features, created exclusive software specifically for the Clavinova line, won dozens of awards and earned numerous industry accolades. At this year's NAMM show, the Clavinova received its 12th award from industry trade magazine Musical Merchandise Review (MMR), this time for "Pro Digital Keyboard Line of the Year".
