NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs, Inc. helped provide pianos for numerous Thanksgiving related television specials. The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS featured a special performance by award-winning country music artist Reba McEntire with a Yamaha C7S. Maggie Rodriguez and Dave Price from CBS News' The Early Show anchored the special, celebrating its 49th year, live from New York City.

Also on Thanksgiving Day, Fox aired Kaleidoscope, a new Thanksgiving tradition on the network that combines the beauty of Skating, the excitement of Song, and the brave message of Survivorship to raise awareness of the key issues surrounding women and cancer. Music producer David Foster performed with a DS4M4.

And finally, on CNN, Carrie Underwood made an appearance on CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute with a Yamaha C1S (played by Yamaha artist Jonathan Hamby). Anderson Cooper hosted the star-studded gala, which was seen around the world on the global networks of CNN. The telecast shines a spotlight on the extraordinary accomplishments of 10 everyday people who have truly made a difference. Each of this year's honorees received $25,000 in recognition of their work, and the show culminated with the announcement of the 2009 CNN Hero of the Year, who will receive an additional $100,000.
