Yamaha's new 5-disc DVD changer is quite versatile. It plays DVD-Video, CDs, and VCD's. The DVD-C740 can also playback CD-RW/R discs, DVD+RW/+R discs, MP3s, and features interlaced and progressive scan video output.

The DVD-C740 features a sophisticated anti-vibration system incorporating shockproof memory circuitry and a large disc stabilizer.

Yamaha's patented PlayXchange system allows swapping out four discs while the fifth is playing.

The high performance laser pick-up has independent heads to provide top-quality Video CD, SCD, and DVD performance.

Cinema Image recognizes a movie and softens the brightness for better viewing on conventional direct view TVs. It also improves the visibility of dark scenes and reduces picture noise.

192 kHz/24-bit compatible audio digital-to-analog conversion assures that the DVD-C740 delivers superior sound performance. Yamaha's Cinema Dialogue circuitry provides a steady and centered audio image to maintain the direction and intelligibility of a movie's script.

Yamaha's high quality video 54 MHz/12-bit video DAC and 4:4:4 progressive component video circuit assure the finest possible video performance.

The Yamaha DVD-C740 incorporates Intelligent Progressive video output and features component video outputs as well as S-video and composite video outputs.

The DVD-C740 provides optical and coaxial digital audio outputs. It also features a mixed 2-channel output with 3D Surround.

Control and operation is easy with the DVD-C740's well designed remote control keypad.
