The more expensive DVD-C900GL version matches the styling of Yamaha's flagship DSP-A1 processor/amplifier and features a gold-amber finish and wood end panels.

The DVD-C900/DVD-C900GL provides Dolby Digital output for DVD-Video discs and a DTS bitstream for DTS encoded Compact Discs and DVD-Video discs.
