Yamaha's new DVD-C996 and DVD-C996GL DVD changers provide a choice of styling and identical features and performance. The DVD-C996 features Yamaha's familiar black finish. The more expensive DVD-C996 Gold version matches the styling of Yamaha's flagship RX-V1 and RX-V3000 receivers and features a gold-amber finish.

Yamaha's new DVD-C996/DVD-C996GL can play DVD-Video discs, Video CDs, and standard Compact Discs.

Simultaneous output of digital and analog signals allows a single DVD-C996 or DVD-C996GL to feed receivers or processors in different locations, one with digital input capability and one with only analog input capability. It is ideal for multi-room systems.

96 kHz/24-bit compatible audio digital-to-analog conversion and 10-bit video D/A conversion assure that the DVD-C996 and DVD-C996GL deliver superior performance.
