Sequencer Functions
The MDF2 offers sequence playback capability in addition to MIDI data recording. Extra versatility is provided by repeat playback and programmed-sequence playback functions. You can also use the real-time recording function to directly record phrases and musical ideas you play on a MIDI keyboard or other instrument. Up to 99 sequence files can be stored on each disk. Of course, the playback tempo is variable from 30 to 250 beats per minute.

The MDF2 does more than just record and play MIDI data. It offers a range of file-management functions that make organizing your disks and data an easy process.
Battery-powered Freedom
Because the MDF2 is battery powered it can be used anywhere, anytime. An optional Yamaha AC Adaptor can be used to power the MDF2 where an AC outlet is available.
