NS-AW2W

Yamaha's NS-AW2W is Yamaha's most powerful speaker designed for use outdoors. The two-way acoustic suspension design system incorporates a 6-1/2" glass-filled cloth woofer and 1" pure titanium tweeter in a weather resistant enclosure. The speaker can be used as a bookshelf model or wall mounted and its high style and high performance make it at home on the patio or in the living room.

The NS-AW2W's sealed enclosure is made of UV-stable polypropoylene and has an aluminum grille.

A 6-1/2" high compliance glass filled cloth woofer delivers solid reproduction of the lower and middle frequencies.

The upper end of the frequency range is handled by Yamaha's 1/2" pure titanium dome tweeter.

The speaker is magnetically shielded, so it can be placed on a TV or video monitor without degrading the picture via stray magnetic fields.

To assure flexibility, durability, and the best electrical connection possible, Yamaha has equipped the NS-AW2W with gold-plated five-way binding posts. The five-way binding posts can accept banana plugs and a variety of other connectors, as well as speaker wire. The gold plating assures that once the connection is physically made, the electrical connection is not degraded by weather or other conditions.

The NS-AW2W features a white finish.
