The Steel shell is bright, but the Nickel plating adds a touch of warmth to make this a versatile drum for almost any musical situation.

The wood hoops warm the drum up even more and give you a crisp cross stick for ballads and Latin grooves. The snare side hoop is cut to a decagonal (10 sided) shape to fit a standard snare stand.

This fattens up the sound of the drum for a strong back beat.

The extra deep snare bed lets you put less tension on the snares for a wet sound while reducing the sympathetic vibration from the kick and toms.
