Our AEX series, designed in collaboration with jazz giant Martin Taylor, is a fine example of Yamaha's vintage-meets-visionary philosophy.

Now we've introduced the AEX500 for those who want to harvest some of those two-sided tones without investing in a high-end archtop. The AEX500 has the same mini-humbuckers/piezo combo and flexible electronics, but with a fixed rosewood bridge, a flat spruce top and a bolt-on resewood-on maple neck. It delivers an acoustic/jazz box tone - for a shockingly low price.
