Electric Acoustic Guitar
For those that can't live without the warm, responsive sound of an acoustic guitar, but need the flexibility that electronics can supply, Yamaha has a wide selection of electric acoustic guitars that cover a wide variety of musical genres. Whether played acoustically or through their internal electronics, every one of these instruments possess extraordinary tone and response that rival even the finest purely acoustic instruments.
Superior Acoustic Sound
It starts with the acoustic tone of finely crafted instruments, which are then combined with advanced electronics that add the versatility that purely acoustic instruments lack. The result is a blend of superior acoustic sound and response with the control and versatility that electronics supply. Instruments that deliver stunning tone and response comparable to even the finest of acoustic instruments.
Advanced Electronics
The electronics section features a three band equalizer with an adjustable midrange frequency for added control of the overall sound of the guitar. The Mid Shape Switch offers a choice between Natural and Hard tone settings. The Hard setting boosts Mid and Low frequencies producing a powerful sound.
Bridge with Adjustable Saddle
The CPX incorporates a floating bridge system that effectively reduces unwanted noise and feedback produced by the acoustic characteristics of the guitar when amplified. The pickup is set in an adjustable steel saddle case within the bridge and saddle height can be adjusted with a coin. To add strength and stability to the system, the bridge is secured to an aluminum plate under the body top.
