Features
Preset Effect Selection
Choose from 100 wide-ranging preset effect programs.
Custom Effect Creation
Program custom effects, modifying compression, distortion, equalization, modulation, and the reverb/delay effect stages, storable in 100 custom memory locations.
Compressor
Produces sustain or simple "smoothing" by compressing the signal so that high levels are suppressed while low levels are effectively boosted.
Wah
The Wah stage offers three basic variations, all of which allow control via a pedal plugged into a rear-panel foot controller jack.
Preamplifier
The FX770 Preamplifer stage offers a range of distortion and tonal control. It features seven (7) selectable gain stages, six (6) delivering different types of distortion and overdrive.
Amp Simulator
The FX770 simulates the basic sounds of nine popular guitar amplifier configurations.
Pitch Change
The Pitch Change effect stage provides two programs: Stereo Pitch Change and Pitch Chorus. Stereo Pitch Change produces independent left and right channel pitch shifted notes. Pitch Chorus makes it easy to create detuned effects or to simply flatten the sound.
Modulation
Contains a number of effects based on amplitude and delay of modulation. Includes Stereo Chorus, Stereo Flanger, Symphonic, Rotary Speaker, Auto Pan, Tremelo, and Resonator.
Delay
Includes eight different Delay types.
Reverb
Includes a number of reverb types, including Large Hall, Medium Room, Small Room and Spring.
MIDI Control
Any of the 200 memory locations may be directly selected from a remote MIDI device (such as a keyboard or MIDI foot controller). It is possible to control up to two different effect parameters simultaneously in real time. In addition, any two MIDI controllers can be assigned to any two effect parameters.
