Music. History. Art.
Introducing the Yamaha GH1FP acoustic piano, the result of a harmonious blend of modern piano craftsmanship and three centuries of fine furniture design. This 5' 3" piano, designed by Yamaha specifically for the home, serves equally well as an illustrious musical instrument and as an elegant work of Art.
The GH Series
Beneath the beautiful exterior, Yamaha's unique blend of traditional handwork and state-of-the-art engineering are evident in the brilliant sound and flawless details. The solid spruce soundboard, dovetail joints, Humid-a-Seal® pinblock and other intricate elements of the inside complement the piano's outer beauty. Together, they create a thoroughly satisfying musical experience.
GH1FP
Prosperity came to the French provinces starting in the 17th century. As the bourgeoisie and wealthy peasantry began to indulge in fashionable furniture, the styles become more ornate and elaborate. You can see many of these traits in the Yamaha GH1 French Provincial piano. The cabriolet legs are Luis XV. The acanthus leaf carvings date back to 17th century France. The swan-neck lyre hails from ancient Greece in a style revived by the French. And the satin cherry wood surface provides the pièce de résistance transforming the GH1FP into a French Provincial, renaissance-inspired piano of uncommon distinction. As a premier example of instrument design and furniture elegance, the Yamaha GH1FP has become a piece of art in its own right.
