Introducing the Yamaha GH1G acoustic piano, the result of a harmonious blend of modern piano craftsmanship and three centuries of fine furniture design. This 5' 3" piano, designed by Yamaha specifically for the home, serves equally well as an illustrious musical instrument and as an elegant work of Art.

Beneath the beautiful exterior, Yamaha's unique blend of traditional handwork and state-of-the-art engineering are evident in the brilliant sound and flawless details. The solid spruce soundboard, dovetail joints, Humid-a-Seal® pinblock and other intricate elements of the inside complement the piano's outer beauty. Together, they create a thoroughly satisfying musical experience.

Four kings named George ruled England from 1714 - 1830, a period now referred to as the Georgian era. During that time, Baroque, Rococo and Neo-classical styles all exerted a dominance on the English culture. Their influences can now be felt together in the elegance of the GH1 Georgian piano. Yamaha has wrapped the GH1G in a decorative, vertical Mahogany cabinet that contributes a rich warmth and understated class to any room. This genteel appearance is accentuated by the fluted, tapered legs with decorative turnings, and solid brass ferrules and casters that finish the legs in style. The elaborate inlay of the piano's music rest is the crowning touch. Its gorgeous wood pattern begs you to memorize the music so that it can remain perpetually in view.

The Yamaha Servicebond™ Assurance Program is provided to the customer, without additional charge, 3-8 months after delivery of their piano. This service is a thorough check up and adjustment procedure to "rejuvenate" a piano after play-in and acclimation to its new environment. After 3-8 months or so of settling and becoming acclimatized, the piano will receive the benefit of a service visit to return it to the conditions specified by the manufacturer.
