Exceptional Rhythm & Accompaniment Styles

In the "Minus-One" mode, the melody line of the demo song is muted so you can play it yourself... or... an ad-lib variation of you own. The Songbook Function gives you 15 such songs for added fun and entertainment.
The Chord Memory function allows you to "record" any chord progression you create, into the PSR215's digital memory. Three Memory Banks are provided so you can record and playback up to three seperate chord progressions. This feature is especially useful for practicing your solo melody playing techniques.
28-note polyphony means that you can play complex chords (up to 28 notes at the exact same moment) without notes being unexpectedly "dropped out".
Auto Harmony fills out your sound by automatically adding the appropriate harmony to the melody note you play on the keyboard. Five different types of harmony are provided.
The outstanding sound of the PSR215 is delivered in dynamic stereo, through a built in stereo amplifier and speaker system.
The PSR215 offers an array of percussive sounds you can play from the keyboard. Some of these are: Timpani, Steel Drums, Latin Percussion, Rock Drum Kits, etc...
The split keyboard mode allows you to simultaneously play one voice with the right hand and another voice with the left hand.
Dual Keyboard Mode
The Dual Keyboard Mode lets you play two voices simultaneously over the entire range of the keyboard. This mode can be combined with the split mode for added variety.
The Transpose button allows the keyboards pitch to be transposed over a two octave range in semitone increments.
The Sustain Mode gives a more expansive character to the PSR215's sound.
One of the primary design objectives of the PSR215 was an affordable electronic keyboard with the same musical expressiveness usually found in much more expensive instruments.
