Microphone, Instrument and Line-Level Sources
MJ100 accepts input directly from one microphone and one musical instrument such as a synthesizer or electric piano. A standard microphone may be connected to the front panel MIC jack, or the optional MJM-10 Gooseneck Condenser Microphone can be plugged into the special top-panel connector.
Line-level Source Selection and Control
The MJ100 has two group of stereo inputs for tape, compact disc, phone and an auxiliary source. The two input groups- SOURCE 1 and SOURCE 2- have separate input selector switches and faders on the mixer's top panel.
Internal and External Effects
The MJ100 has a high quality digital delay system built in. It also has an external signal processor or effect unit can be connected into the MJ100's AUX SEND/ RETURN loop if a different effect is required.
Versatile Monitoring
For convenient, versatile monitoring, a Monitor Select switch matrix assigns the Source 1, Source 2, Source 1 and 2, Mic, Inst, or Master Out signals to the MJ100's headphone jack. The headphone jack also features its own level control so you can easily set up the most comfortable monitoring level.
5-band Graphic Equalizer
A 5-band graphic equalizer has been provided on the MJ100's master stereo buss. The 5 EQ bands are centered at 100 Hz, 400Hz, 1 kHz, 3 kHz and 8 kHz, and each provides a control range of +/-12 dB.
