Features
31 band, 1/3 octave, ISO
Each filter processes a frequency band 1/3 octave wide with a fixed center frequency, and up to 12dB of boost or cut. Center frequencies conform to the accepted ISO standard.

Long throw, 45mm sliders
The Q1131 uses long-throw 45mm sliders allowing subtle equalization adjustments. A center click confirms the 0dB setting and scales printed either side of the sliders are calibrated in dB.
High and Low Notch Filters
Q1131 has both high and low notch filters. Both filters have an 18dB/octave slope, an adjustable Q from 2 to 30, and attenuate by 25dB. Filters can be switched on and off independently and an LED indicator shows the current status.
Variable HPF and LPF
The Q1131 has both high and low pass filters; each with an 18dB/octave slope. The HPF cutoff frequency is adjustable from 20Hz to 200Hz. The LPF cutoff frequency is adjustable from 4kHz to 20 kHz. Filters can be switched on and off independently; an LED indicator shows the current status.
EQ Bypass and Peak Indicator
A bypass switch is essential for instant A-B comparisons. A LED peak indicator illuminates 3dB before the maximum signal level (clipping) is reached.
Operating levels and Input Level Control
The input and output levels can be set independently using the switches on the rear panel. Switch level setting of -20dB and +4dB make the Q1131 compatible with all types of audio equipment.
Inputs - outputs
Three input and output connector options are provided: XLR type, screw terminal and TRS phone jack. All three input options are balanced. The XLR and screw terminal outputs are balanced and the phone jack output is unbalanced.
Power fail-safe
When the Q1131 is switched off, signals appearing at the XLR, or screw terminal input connectors are routed directly to the respective output connector. If the power source is unexpectedly disconnected, the signal path will not be broken.
