The foundation of the MCR-332’s excellent audio performance is a Yamaha-developed digital amp that provides smooth, unforced sound output. The receiver’s separate digital and analog low-noise circuitry ensures thoroughly high sound quality, which is delivered by new-design speakers.
Digital USB Connection for iPad® and Other USB Devices
A USB terminal on the top of the unit makes it quick and easy to plug in an iPad or other USB device. The digital connection permits fast, loss-free signal transmission.
Dock digital connection for iPod®, iPhone®
The iPhone/iPod dedicated dock provides a digital connection, which means that the digital signal from the iPhone/iPod is transmitted directly to the receiver. This minimizes noise interference and allows use of the MCR-332 DAC, rather than the /iPhone/iPod DAC, resulting in more precise sound reproduction.
Front Panel and Knobs Have Aluminum Hairline Finish
The aluminum hairline finish of the front panel and knobs also contributes to the over high class appearance of the system.
Subwoofer Output and AUX-in Terminals
The subwoofer out terminals lets you connect a subwoofer to enjoy enhanced bass power and response. The AUX-in terminal allows connection of other audio components.

Made for iPod®/iPhone®/iPad®
“Made for iPod, iPhone and iPad” means that an electronic accessory has been designed to connect specifically to iPod, iPhone, iPad and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple® performance standards.
iPod Digital Connection
iPod digital connection means that the digital signal from the iPod is transmitted directly to the system, minimising noise interference and allowing use of the DAC not in the iPod, but in the system. This results in more precise sound reproduction.
USB
This unit is equipped with a USB port that allows you to enjoy WAV (PCM format only), MP3 and WMA audio files from a USB memory device (USB flash drive).
CD Text Display
Get information about the CD currently playing right on the CD player’s display. The 3-mode text display shows the CD’s title, the artists name and the title of the track.

Listen to music all the time. Easy to use for radio, CD, i-pod and USB port is a nice surprise addition. This is my third Yamaha product, and I have never been disappointed.

I paired with energy cb-5's and it sounds great. I use as a mobile music machine on a cart. Nothing sounds better! Buy one, you will not be disappointed! Love it!!
