8-inch Driver and 100 Watt Amplifier
High amplifier power assures enough power to deliver movie theater-like bass effects, and the 8-inch cone driver translates the power into clear bass sound. The YST-SW012 has a frequency range of 28 to 200 Hz.
Magnetic Shielding
The subwoofer is magnetically shielded so it can be placed near a TV monitor or receiver without degrading the picture.
Volume Control
The volume control permits the perfect matching of the sub's output to the overall volume of the system.
Linear Port
The Linear Port provides smooth bass response during playback and minimizing extraneous noise.

Plug and play set up was a snap. I have a small apartment so I just needed a small subwoofer to "fill in the bass". This unit was a perfect addition to my sound system and it gave the bass tones the richness I was looking for in my apartment. Volume control made it easy to tune the subwoofer to my other speakers so that the sound blends in without overpowering the rest of the system.

Great price for the sound. Works well with Dolby 5.1 TV and video. Don't know how well it works with music, especially with heavy bass, but that's not my use or concern.
