We have tuned the popular Maple Custom Series snare drum to produce even greater sensitivity and tonal control. By carefully processing the top bearing edge to make it a rounder, 60-degree 2R edge, deeper fundamental tone has been brought out. Additionally, by giving the bottom rim a sharper angle of 45-degree 1R, the bottom head and the snare react more sensitively to each other. The greater depth of the bottom head contributes to that sensitivity.
