Comments about Yamaha thr10:
This amp is by far the best practice amp ever created. It's well built, looks cool, can do multiple things and does them all well. I wanted that high gain sound, but was sick of blowing my ears out cranking my tube amp to get that sound, only to be sad when turning it down and it sounds like blah. So I got this amp, was blow away at the sounds you can get out of this thing. Honestly this amp is perfect for the home player or the tour bus. I can get awesome sounds without waking the whole house. Way too many good things to say about this amp, just go buy one it's well worth every penny. Thank you Yamaha for finally creating something I have been dreaming of for years.

Comments about Yamaha thr10:
I was searching for a very small practice amp for my computer desk to compliment my main tube amp and allow late night jams. When I went to purchase the amp I had chosen, I saw this one in the music store and had to buy it as soon as I tried it.
As long as you read what it was designed for, and use it as that, it is almost perfect. The only issue I have is the different models. I had a hard time choosing between this one and the 10x, 10c.
If I could add the other amp models, (even by purchase) this would truly be perfect. I would love to have all three but I can't justify purchasing more than one. Not only due to cost of all three but, I really don't want to have the extra hardware at all. It would kind of take away from being a desk top amp if I cover my whole desk top with them.
Other than that I can't stop playing it. Truly a wonderful piece of equipment.

Comments about Yamaha thr10:
I've had this little amp for almost 10-months now, and I'd buy another one IMMEDIATELY if this one were lost or stolen. It's an integral part of my guitar life and I'd miss it...
To keep this short and sweet, I sound better now... In part because I practice more (portability), and in part because this little amp just sounds surprisingly good! Different tones and 'sounds' are incredibly easy to dial-in, and the software for tweaking presets is super-easy. Get one... you won't regret it.

Comments about Yamaha thr10:
The perfect practice amp. Take it to the office and practice during lunch. Take it on the road and practice in hotel rooms. I've played guitars with P90s, humbuckers, mini humbuckers & "standard" single coils through the THR10 & they all sound great. Nice cleans for jazz all the way up to heavy distortion for hard rock/metal, it covers it all. Plug in an mp3 player & jam along. The built in effects are very nice as well. Portability and great tones make this little amp a winner.

Comments about Yamaha thr10:
I chose the THR10 primarily to practice at my desktop computer. However, after playing with it I found that it sounded so good that I now use it as my amp in the praise band at my church. I just plug it in, place it on a music stand, put a mic in front of it. When I get home I can listen to music from my computer or IPod and it sounds beautiful as a stereo( thanks Yamaha stereo guys) . The THR 10 is such a versatile instrument being a very portable, responsive, and great- sounding guitar amp. A recording amp with USB interface. A great stereo. I heard that THR stood for your third amp but it may become my ONE amp! I have a couple of suggestion for the future is to make a travel case or cover, make a stand or a way to attach it to a mic stand, and if output is used make the speakers work so you could monitor.

Comments about Yamaha thr10:
I was looking for quality tones above the typical "practice" amps, and especially something that produced good tones at low volume. This does it. I have a large tube amp and I can get close to the same thing without the volume with the THR 10 and if that's what your looking for I highly recommend it. I downloaded the driver from Yamaha and it might be a problem with my old XP machine. That and the lack of the mp3 conversion in the cubase would be my only complaints and would otherwise give this product a perfect rating.
