Comments about Yamaha a1m:
I searched for several months for a new acoustic guitar. I went to the guitar store to purchase a different instrument, but picked up this Yamaha and gave it a try. It had the best action that I've ever experienced and the clarity of the sound was phenomenal. The instrument was very comfortable finger picking or with a pick. After an hour of playing, I knew I wasn't buying the orignal instrument. I took a night to think it over, and returned when teh store opened to buy the Yamaha. (then I told my wife) I've been playing the instrument for several weeks and it gets better every day. It easily compares to instruments twice it's price. I plan to use this guitar as my workhorse for playing for the next decade.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
