Comments about Yamaha rgxa2:
Where do I begin... What a fantastic guitar. I got it for about £350 about 6 years ago. Although the components can be a little iffy, eg. I've been through 5 jacks (so far, with the fifth now dying on me), 2 pickup selectors and the bridge is rusted through.
Having said that, I've played it every day, gigged with it extensively and its generally stood up to the test of time.
It would be so awesome if Yamaha read this and decided to fix it up for me since I'm such a loyal customer. (hint hint)
Anyway, mine has some Bare Knuckle Nailbombs in it, they sound absolutely immense. The neck is super dark and deep but gritty as you want. The bridge is great for more clarity and less low end. I found the pickups did this anyway, I just had the idea to accentuate it with the Nailbombs.
I would highly recommend this guitar, what a shame it's been discontinued, I'd certainly buy another.
