Comments about Yamaha apxt2:
Plays well for a guitar in this price range. I am using a lighter gauge set of strings and it handles those well with only a slight loss of volume. I most likely will lower the strings (action) a tad to increase the already good playability. Otherwise it is very good from the factory as built. I am 71 and have been playing actively since I was 14. This is a nice practice/travel instrument.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
