PSR12

The PSR-12 offers 32 orchestra voices, including string, brass, organ and piano sounds, as well as modern electronic sounds and effects like popsynth, funksynth and cosmic. In addition, there are sixteen different rhythms, and an advanced automatic accompaniment section.

When Synchro Start is used, Rhythm tracks start as soon as a note is played on the keyboard. The Rhythm section's volume may be controlled independently and offers such beats as swing, pops, bossanova, disco, reggae, and rock 'n' roll.

The Orchestra Section also offers a Sustain Effect for added sound dimension and realism. The Pitch Control fine tunes the PSR-12 with other instruments or matches tuning to a specific vocal range.

The Auto Bass Chord section produces accompanying bass and chord patterns on the keyboards first octave and a half. A Fingered Chord mode lets full chords be played and the Manual Bass Mode allows original bass lines to be created. The Auto Bass section offers several different accompaniment voices, including upright bass, electric bass, synth or tuba.

Eight demonstration songs are preprogrammed into memory. Select any one and hear them all in succession and during playback, song arrangements can be altered by changing voices and rhythms, adding fill-ins, and changing tempo and pitch.
