In the YPT-230, You will find 385 high-quality instrument voices and 100 accompaniment styles. It features a wide variety of voices, including preset digital effects. You will also find preset dual voices, like e.g. Piano plus Synth Pad, so you can easily (simply?) enjoy beautiful rich sounds.
Portable Grand Button
Enjoy Yamaha's world-famous grand piano sound The Portable Grand button instantly recalls a great sounding piano "covering" the keyboard's full range.
Auto Power Off mode
This is a new, eco-friendly mode. The YPT-330/230 comes with a function that turns off the power automatically if the keyboard has not been used for a set amount of time in order to avoid using power unnecessarily. This supports long battery life.

Comments about Yamaha ypt-230:
I am fortunate to have been given this Yamaha keyboard as a gift by my grown sons for Christmas. I am enjoying learning how to play it as a grand piano, not only because it is keeping my mind sharp and my fingers nimble, but also, I want to keep music alive for all my family by playing the music we all love.
The only problem I have is in downloading the free song book as stated that I could in the registration form.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
