Yamaha Continues its Winning Ways at NAMM 2019

BUENA PARK, Calif. (February 20, 2019) — Yamaha has been awarded two product awards during the 2019 NAMM Show for its Commercial Audio products as well as recognition from the industry for "Live Sound Product of the Year".
Front of House Magazine named the RIVAGE PM7 "Best New Large-Format Console" of 2019 and the NAMM TEC Awards awarded the Yamaha CL/QL StageMix V.7 in the Audio Apps and Hardware/Peripherals for Smartphones and Tablets category.
The RIVAGE PM7 control surface is the same size as the flagship RIVAGE PM10 system CS-R10 control surface but with the DSP engine built into the console offering enhanced portability and system flexibility while maintaining high operability. The panel layout of the RIVAGE PM7 is the same as the PM10, delivering the same user experience. With 120 input channels, 60 mix buses, 24 matrices, and a comprehensive selection of 48 top-quality plug-ins the PM7 provides a mixing capacity that is also comparable to the RIVAGE PM10 (the latter has 144 input channels, 72 mix buses, 36 matrices, and 50 plug-ins). A Dual Console function also allows the CSD-R7 to be connected to one of the RIVAGE PM10 system control surfaces (CS-R10 or CS-R10-S).
As the CL/QL StageMix software continues to evolve it has become an invaluable tool not only for a monitor setup but for wireless mix fine tuning from anywhere in the audience seating area, mixer display expansion via a wired connection, and more. With Version 7, both CL StageMix and QL StageMix acquire a new "CUSTOM" meter area and a more flexible fader area layout capability. Thanks to the ongoing collaboration between Shure and Yamaha since 2013, control and monitoring support has also been added for Shure wireless receivers that are non-Dante compatible AXT400, QLXD4, and ULXD4.
In addition, Yamaha Professional Audio was named Dealers’ Choice for Best Sound Reinforcement Brand by MI retailer magazine Musical Merchandise Review (MMR). Yamaha is a multi-year award winner of this honor reflecting the brand’s top position in the MI live sound market.
"We are very honored to receive these industry awards and would like to thank all of our customers for the faith they continue to have in our products," states Alan Macpherson, general manager, Yamaha Professional Audio division. "We will continue to elevate our brand to even higher levels as we strive to create perfect systems for our customers."
