DTXM12: How to Use the Layer Switch to Control Open and Closed Hi Hat Sounds

1)    Press the [KIT] button.

2)    Press the [>] button until “KIT7 OTHER” is displayed.

3)    Press the [ENTER] button.

4)    Press the [<] button until KIT7-1 is displayed.

5)    Hit the desired pad 1-12 to be controlled by hi hat open/closed.

6)    Set the LayerSwitch setting to hh.  When the hi hat is open the pad will trigger layers A and B.  When the hi hat is closed the pad will trigger layers C and D.

7)    Press the [STORE] button.

8)    Select a User location to store the kit.

9)    Press the [ENTER] button twice.
