The Music House Museum features a one-of-a-kind collection of rare antique musical instruments and music-making machines, from 1870 through 1930, including nickelodeons, music boxes and pipe organs.

Ms. Downs will play a variety of jazz and ragtime selections using the latest in music technology – the Yamaha Disklavier Mark IV player piano.

A professional performer for more than 40 years, Sue Downs has worked with jazz pianist and Woody Allen film composer Dick Hyman and ragtime recording artist Big Tiny Little, as well as the Roger Williams and Red Skelton orchestras. A Yamaha product specialist, she also appears frequently at the Monterey, Sun Valley and Sacramento Jazz Festivals.

The Denver Post's Jeff Bradley said Downs "displays a total command of the keyboard… she has fun at the piano and puts a smile on your face."

The event will take place at the Music House Museum, located at 7377 U.S. 31 North in Acme, Michigan. The concert is free, however, a donation of $10 is encouraged.

All proceeds will benefit the Music House Museum. For tickets, call Kurtz Music at (231) 947-3730.
