Yamaha Music Education System Hosts Highly Successful Music Camp

The camp is an annual three-day event for U.S. students in the Yamaha Music Education System to study with conductors and professional musicians in order to hone their own musical technique. |
The Yamaha Music Camp culminated in the exciting Yamaha National Junior Original Concert 2008 where 14 Yamaha Music School students performed their original compositions with the Yamaha Young Musicians Ensemble, under the direction of Vanja Nikolovski. A capacity audience filled Crowell Hall and warmly and enthusiastically received the performances of the students, ages 7-14.
During the camp program, young musicians also attended piano and keyboard ensemble performance clinics, along with improvisation clinics.
