Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher told Billboard "there's something about [Crack The Skye] where it would be weird to leave a song out. We'll incorporate a whole stage show, which will hopefully make it even more exciting for kids to come see and more visually stimulating."

This first tour behind the groundbreaking new album will sweep across the U.S. and Canada, playing in smaller theaters and clubs to insure an intimate, up-close environment. Bassist/ singer Troy Sanders played his Yamaha BB2004 bass in the new video "Divinations," the first single off the album. Both Bill and Troy will be playing their SBG1000 and TRB1004 guitars and basses respectively on the upcoming tour. Mastodon will tour Europe with Metallica this summer.

In addition, they have been invited to perform as part of the Sonisphere touring rock festival this summer in Europe with Metallica, Linkin Park, Slipknot, and more. For a complete look at their upcoming tour, click here.
