Collective Soul is an alternative-rock band that hit mainstream popularity with their single, "Shine," from their debut album in 1993. They are promoting their most recent album, Afterwords, as well preparing to debut their new album, which is to be released in August.

"We are excited to get back out on the road this summer, and are delighted it's with Gavin," Collective Soul frontman Ed Roland said. "[We] have always been big fans, and we look forward to some great shows."

Gavin DeGraw's single, "I Don't Want to Be," hit the top ten in the U.S., which is off of his 2004 album Chariot. He is promoting his newest album, Free, which was released earlier this year.
