Yamaha's Piano Radio Adds Holiday Favorites and Live Piano Concerts Channels

NEW YORK CITY—Yamaha Music Interactive announces the launch of The Live Piano Concerts channel, which features exact reproductions of masterful classical piano performances.

Now available to Piano Radio Subscribers, every key and pedal movement in the songs heard on the Live Piano Concerts channel was precisely captured by a Yamaha Disklavier piano during a live performance, and now those movements and sounds are recreated perfectly on owners' instruments through Piano Radio.

Drawing on performances from the Newport Music Festival, the Minnesota International Piano-e-Competition and Yamaha Artist Services' New York concert series, the Live Piano Concerts channel encompasses a wide range of musical playing styles and composers. The channel's featured performers include such acclaimed artists as Frederic Chiu, Bernadene Blaha, Kevin Fitz-Gerald, Mirian Conti, Piers Lane and Mei-Ting Sun.

The Holiday Favorites channel was also recently released. This channel features all kinds of music for the holiday season, drawing from the extensive catalog of PianoSoft Christmas and holiday recordings. The Holiday Favorites channel is just one of the many seasonal channels, such as Valentine Love Notes and Halloween Hits, offered throughout the year on the Piano Radio service.
