Keep on Believing

At the recent NAMM music industry trade show, held annually in Anaheim, Calif., Yamaha Guitars hosted a special event for its Rosewood Dealers featuring the Neal Schon Band, which performed on Yamaha instruments at Tortilla Jo's in Downtown Disneyland.

When the band started playing, the crowd squeezed in toward the stage and stayed riveted throughout the raucous performance. Joining Schon, who played several memorable solos on a custom SBG1000, were his son Miles Schon on guitar, bassist Marco Mendoza, drummer Prairie Prince (playing a kit he painted himself), vocalist Keith St. John and keyboardist John Harjo.
