Audio Incorporated Supports two Lincoln Center Summer Festivals with NEXO and Yamaha

On the southwest side of the Lincoln Center sits the enclave of Damrosch Park, transformed during the summer first by Mid Summer Night’s Swing, a lively outdoor dance hall, and then four weeks later, the park morphs into a 4000-seat concert venue of Lincoln Center Out of Doors. Both annual festivals feature live music with touring and local artists including The Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, The Paul Taylor Dance Company, Nick Lowe, and Bonnie Raitt, to name a few.
Lincoln Center Summer Festivals with NEXO and Yamaha
Audio Incorporated (Roselle Park, New Jersey) has supported the Lincoln Center Back-to-Back and Out-of-Doors Outdoor Festivals held at Damrosch Park in New York City for the past 15 years. The sound system was required to have even coverage on both the raised dance floor of Mid Summer Night's Swing as well as when the dance floor is removed for the seated concert audience of Lincoln Center Out of Doors. "We provided a NEXO STM Line Array System that handled this easily with power and clarity, states Stephen Tolve, President/Co-Owner, Audio Incorporated. The company upgraded to the NEXO STM speaker system three years ago.

Audio Incorporated also supplied a Yamaha CL5 Digital Audio Console for front of house with two Rio 3224-D input output box one Rio 1608-D, and a PM5D Digital Audio Console at the monitor station. This year, the main system signal chain was digital direct from the Rios to the NEXO amp racks using Dante with a total of eight NEXO STM B118s, eight NEXO B112s, eight STM M46s, and four M28-120s powered by four NEXO Nuar racks. Two delay towers were also used with a total of two NEXO STM M46s, four M28-90s, and two NEXO 4x4 amplifiers.
"The response from the touring acts was overwhelmingly positive, says Tolve. The NEXO STM system has proven to be one of the premier sound systems on the market. I look forward to both festivals next year because Lincoln Center is one of the best places to enjoy summer in the city!"
