Florida Saxophone Events

BUENA PARK, CA (May 2, 2003) — Yamaha District Manager Dino Riccio recently completed the first 3 'grass roots' saxophone promotions with dealers in Florida. During these 3 separate events, customers had a chance to get a first hand look at the new 475, 62II, 82Z and 875EX saxophones. Each of the dealers received a custom designed and printed postcard for their event promoting the times and dates plus some background information about the new saxophones. Over 1600 postcards were mailed between the 3 dealers promoting the events and nearly 100 customers were in attendance.

Several customers came to the event to purchase their new Yamaha saxophone with around 15 sales resulting directly from the events. One of these purchases was a professional player who ordered his 82Z alto without even playing it after hearing some other professionals talk about how great the new model is.

All Yamaha dealers are encouraged to promote an event like this for their local customers. If you are a dealer and would like to run a promotion similar to this, contact your District Manager.
