BUENA PARK, CA (July 15, 2003) — We are pleased to announce a new artist poster featuring America's leading flutist Jeff Khaner.

Jeffrey Khaner joined the Philadelphia Orchestra as Principal Flute at the beginning of the 1990/1991 season following his Principal position with the Cleveland Orchestra from 1982 through 1990. Prior to his appointment in Cleveland, Mr. Khaner served as Co-Principal Flute of the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Principal Flute of the Mostly Mozart Festival in New York and the Atlantic Symphony in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Jeffrey Khaner has also appeared extensively as a soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras and in solo and chamber performances.

A graduate of the Juilliard School where he studied with Julius Baker, Jeffrey Khaner has been a faculty member of the world renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia since 1985. He has given masterclasses and recitals throughout North, South and Central America, Europe and Asia. Jeffrey Khaner is a Yamaha performing artist and clinician.
