BUENA PARK, CA (July 17, 2003) — On June 12, 13, and 14, 2003, Adam Frey joined forces as both arranger and soloist with Maestro Bruce Hangen and the Boston Pops for the world premieres of three orchestral arrangements. Miguel Sandoval's Sin tu Amor opened Frey's set while Pantomime by Philip Sparke served as the main course of the euphonium feature. Walter Rodger's turn-of-the-century patriotic work, The Volunteer, utilized as an encore brought the audience to their feet all three nights. In addition to these three world premieres, Frey also performed At the River from Aaron Copland's Old American Songs.

Winner of numerous international competitions, Adam has set his sights well beyond the traditional limits of the euphonium world.

Adam Frey
When he first purchased his YEP-842S back in Oct. 2001 we wrote in our Artist News of his lofty ambition of becoming the first euphonium player to be a soloist in front of a major orchestra.

And now Adam has succeeded in realizing his dream. He played 3 concerts as featured soloist with the world renowned Boston Pops Orchestra. And received standing applause at each concert.
