BUENA PARK, CA (September 18, 2003) The newest addition to the marching wind family is the YBB-202MS marching tuba. During the 2003 DCI season, the Cavaliers, Cadets and Crossmen took part in the trial of the new instrument and all 3 corps gave it a resounding stamp of approval. The YBB-202MS has three pistons, bore size of .728", and a 21" bell. Some of the qualities that will make this instrument a new educator favorite was the resonance, durability, overall feel and playability, richness of tone, and excellent projection. The YBB-202MS will be introduced at the Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic in December 2003.
