Special Olympics 2004

BUENA PARK, CA (August 5, 2004) — Yamaha Cares has been involved with the Special Olympics Southern California for two years now by providing financial support to the organization in addition to Giving The Gift of Music. Yamaha Cares has been able to Give The Gift of Music by having a Yamaha Disklavier Grand Piano and a Clavinova Digital Piano and various other instruments for the athletes and their families to play. In addition, many small prizes were given out to athletes. In addition to the activity at the Yamaha Cares booth, Yamaha Corporation of America employees came out in full force to volunteer. We had over 50 volunteers to contribute to making the Summer Games a success!
