Yamaha Designs Q-Class Instruments for Beginning, Student Musicians

BUENA PARK, CA (September 16, 2005) Yamaha Corporation of America, Band & Orchestral Division, recently debuted the Q-Class series. The Q-Class series features three student-level instruments: a flute, alto saxophone and trumpet, packaged in an attractive, full-color display that includes quotes and images from professional musicians Jim Walker (flute), Dave Koz (saxophone) and Bobby Shew (trumpet).
All Q-Class instruments come packaged with a Product Support CD-ROM. A great tool for educators, retailers, professionals and students, the disc provides a wealth of information applicable to musicians of all levels: fingering charts, "Tips From the Pros," product information, instrument maintenance manuals, performance and educational videos, and links to music association websites.
Designed especially for student and beginning players, the Q-Class series features price points below standard models, while maintaining high quality standards. The student level flute (YFL-01Q) features a durable silver-plated finish, providing professional quality sound.
