Piano Master Class Series at Yamaha Artist Services, Inc.

NEW YORK — A cross-section of the world’s leading concert pianists and music academics will share their insights into the art of piano performance in an exciting piano master class series at Yamaha’s midtown artist services center. Following performances by talented young artists, the masters will offer specialized feedback from both a technical and interpretive perspective.

Weekday classes will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and weekend classes will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to all events is free of charge and piano faculty and students throughout the New York metro area are welcome. The classes will take place at the third floor piano salon of Yamaha Artist Services, Inc., at 689 Fifth Avenue in New York City. The entrance is located on 54th Street. Tuesday, April 26 to Saturday, April 30: John Perry – Professor, University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Juror, Chopin International Piano Competition

Wednesday, May 25 to Friday, May 28: John O'Connor – Professor, Royal Irish Academy of Music, Artistic Director of the AXA Dublin International Piano Competition
