Yamaha Artists Join in on Introduction of Q-Class Instruments at Winter NAMM 2005

QClass Series Logo
The 2005 Winter NAMM show introduced Yamaha's line of student-level instruments, the Q-Class series. The Q-Class instruments deliver what musicians have come to expect from Yamaha – legendary quality, consistency and affordability. The series includes three models: the YFL-01Q (flute), YAS-01MQ (alto saxophone) and YTR-01MQ (trumpet). Bobby Shew (trumpet), Dave Koz (saxophone) and Jim Walker (flute) were all present at the Yamaha NAMM booth to kick off the Q-Class debut and sign autographs for fans. Each Q-Class box features the respective artists' image on their exteriors.

The YFL-01Q features a silver-plated finish and body marking for easy assembly. The YAS-01MQ offers an ultra cool, retro-looking shotblast finish, which is easy to clean and maintain. It also features a stylish, modern and durable keyguard to provide excellent protection. The YTR-01MQ offers the same shotblast finish as the alto saxophone and a professional style reverse leadpipe design, which improves airflow. All three instruments come with a convenient, lightweight case designed for easy carrying.

The instruments come packaged with a product support CD-ROM that includes maintenance manuals, music videos, product information and more, so students can step to the head of the class with Q-Class!
