Yamaha and the 2005 WGI Championships

Yamaha's Percussion team spent half a week this past April in Dayton, Ohio for the 2005 Winter Guard International Championships. More than 150 groups competed this year, representing a spectrum of schools and independent organizations. As a proud sponsor of WGI since 1998, Yamaha would like to congratulate all performance groups on the successful completion of their 2005 indoor season. As tradition has held, Yamaha was fortunate to help groups in need again this year by making several Multi-Frame II instruments available for use during competition. Several groups utilized the instruments this year. We were happy to help!

It goes without saying that Yamaha had great representation on the competition floor this year. We appreciate the support of the many organizations that choose to Play Yamaha!
