Rock Legends and Yamaha Artists Hitting The Road This Fall

Legendary musicians and Yamaha artists, Paul McCartney and Elton John, are both on separate tours across the U.S. this fall. McCartney's piano of choice is the Yamaha DC5APro, a 6' 7" Digital Acoustic Grand Piano, while John uses a Yamaha DCFIIIS, a 9' Digital Acoustic Concert Grand Piano. John also performs with his Elton John Signature Red Piano, a Mark IV Disklavier, which he uses in his critically acclaimed "The Red Piano" show at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

Elton John
McCartney's "US" tour kicked off September 19 at Miami's American Airlines Arena, and the tour will continue through the end of November. The all-new tour features classics from McCartney's Beatles, Wings and solo career, as well as songs that have yet to be or haven't been performed on American soil in nearly 15 years.

The tour coincides with McCartney's first new studio album in four years, Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard. The new 13-track album is a mix of up-tempo piano driven McCartney instant classics such as "Fine Line" and "Promise To You Girl" and more introspective darker tracks such as "At The Mercy," "Too Much Rain" and "Riding To Vanity Fair." One of the many highlights is a track entitled, "Jenny Wren," which McCartney describes as "daughter of Blackbird," as well as "Follow Me," which he debuted at The Glastonbury Festival while on his '04 Summer European Tour.

John has been traveling the world on his 2005 Peachtree Road Tour and will be making stops in North America before heading back to Europe in December. Enjoying more than 30 years of hits, John is one of the greatest singers and songwriters in rock 'n roll history. His signature outrageous performances feature John's greatest hits and new songs from his recent Peachtree Road release.

Most recently John released an expanded deluxe edition of Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy in celebration of its 30th anniversary. The album, co-written with songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, was the first in history to debut on the Billboard album charts at #1. The album featured hits such as the emotionally charged "Someone Saved my Life Tonight."

In October John will reprise his stint at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas with performances of "The Red Piano." Together with famed photographer David LaChapelle, John creates a dreamscape dripping with rich imagery of Hollywood and Las Vegas icons, giving the viewer a new, three-dimensional interpretation of John and Taupin's most memorable recordings.
