New Guides Adds to Durability and Quality

All low brass are now shipping with a new metal/plastic hybrid valve guide. These new guides are the same style of plastic, but they all have a metal insert. This addition helps to reduce wear on the guide and eliminate the potential for breaking the valve guide tip. All Yamaha low brass instruments are now using these new guides and are also available for repair shops and for schools looking to replace the older all-plastic version.

The baritone guides fit all marching baritones, concert baritones and alto horns. Individual pieces are available under part number G2141093. These are also available in bulk 100/pcs sets under part number G2141099. The euphonium/tuba guides fit all existing Yamaha euphoniums (concert or marching) and all Yamaha tubas. Individual guides are available under part number G0141093. Bulk 100/pcs packages of these guides are available under part number G0140099.
