“The market for lower-priced electrics has become increasingly competitive, and that usually means sacrificing features, quality, or both,” says Bryan Savage, marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars. “But with the new RGX electrics, you don’t have to settle for less whether you’re on a budget, or just need a second instrument.”
The RGX320FZ features a Nato carved top body, a thin, 25.5” set-in Maple neck and smooth 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include a pair of Yamaha humbuckers, master volume and tone, and a 3-position toggle switch. Chrome hardware, diecast tuners and a choice of Black or Pewter finishes complete the look.
The RGX520FZ has a Nato body with flamed Maple veneer top, a fast 25.5” Maple set-in neck and 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with custom inlay. Twin humbuckers, a three-position toggle switch master volume and tone complete the circuitry, while Chrome hardware, barrel tuners and Translucent Black or Dark Red finishes ensure that the RGX520FZ looks as great as it sounds.
“Today’s rock musician calls for instruments that not only look great but feel great too,” adds Savage. “The RGX320FZ and RGX520FZ have contemporary designs and progressive features that today’s younger players require. And, at this price, everyone can afford to look like a pro.”
